hmm...been a while!

So it has been a while since I have posted on here. I planned on writing more often but after Andrew returned from deployment time has flown by. It has been a year now since he got home ... and it will be another year before he leaves again, thank goodness!!!!

I have been working hard at school and only have 3 semesters left before I graduate with my bachelors degree in HHP (Health and Human Performance). It is a little nerve-wracking because I went from "teaching and only teaching" to a much more open field... with SO many options! That ..and the fact I have to start paying those awful school loans back! Mine are not as bad as others I go to school with about 1 years worth at my private college instead of 4 years worth! I keep telling myself to be thankful because it could ALWAYS be worse!! lol

We are preparing for our summer vacation back to Tennessee to visit our family and for my 21st birthday, I AM SO EXCITED! :) We're going to FL for my birthday and it will be the first time I have been to the beach since I was in 10th grade! Last year we went to Disney World for our 2nd anniversary, and had a BLAST, so I know no matter what we do, it'll be F U N!

We're still stationed in good ole Montana... haha... not so great falls, that is! It really isn't THAT bad, really depends on what kind of a day you are having and what kind of attitude you have. We have had a great stay here... met some wonderful people.. and then some not so wonderful people but hey, that is part of it, right? Live and learn.... much easier said than done though. :) It has most def. brought my husband and myself a LOT closer together... and for that I am forever thankful! :)

One of those nights!

Ahh!! I just want to scream.. there is just so much going on and it's really starting to get to me. My husband has been deployed since August 30 and doing everything without him has been one of the hardest things I have ever had to do in my life. Although, it is making me a lot stronger than I ever thought I would be. . .it still sucks!

Christmas break finally came and I got an entire month off from school and cheer, THANK GOD! I was running low on fuel! The break was nice, although with all the down time I got a little bummed without my husband being there for the holidays. On the plus side, my mom came to visit -which REALLY helped! My mom was like .. my best friend at home, whom I miss tremendously! It was nice having her here, but of course... she had to go back home which just broke my heart. It was nice having someone I can trust with anything here with me while Andrew is going. I am pretty sure after she left I became more homesick than I did when we moved away from home! :(

Anyway, moving on, I am one of those people who try to branch out and meet new people. I don't ever want to be know as the "stuck up girl" but with my problem of being shy(esp. since Andrew has been away) I feel I always come off to people the wrong way! It's just hard.. and annoying! haha I am working on it though - so hopefully I will eventually get that taken care of! I have been doing a LOT better! :)

I have also learned that you have to give people a chance! You can't always go off of what others say, no matter what. YES, some things I believe is true... but others I feel deserve a chance like everyone elsse!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ahahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

I don't even know what to do anymore... I'm literally going crazy! Today marks another week down from my countdown though so now we are at 19weeks down - 13weeks to go! <3 13 weeks.... thats awesome! Especially when we started it was at 32weeks! Time is going by fast, thankfully, but there are those days that drag by... kind of like today.

Well... I think I have said enough for now! Ahh... :) I'm sure I will post again, soon!

Long time, no write!!!

HEYY!!

It's been a while since the last time I have posted on here. I do believe Andrew was still in Tech School and it was getting down to the nitty gritty of the big wedding & the big move!


WELL, we have accomlpished both, successfully! -Horray!!

The wedding went great! It was probably the most perfect day I have had in my life so far! A week after the wedding is when we moved. Over 2,000 miles across the U.S. we safely made it to Great Falls, Montana! Malmstrom is a small base, very secured, in which I like very much so! We stayed in TLF the first week we were here and was offered a house! THANK GOD!! I love my house so much!

I started school at University of Great Falls in Jan. of 2010 and I ended off the semester earning 17credits and making all A's and 1 B(a high b at that!) I am proud to say I earned a spot on the Dean's List!! HORRAY! =] I'm super excited for Fall Semester to begin!! I never expected college to be like it is! I always expected it to be super hard and scary.... I guess I have grown up, a LOT!

Andrew found out at the end of tech school that we were going to be stationed in Montana and he would be part of the REDHORSE squadron, joy! At first I was pretty upset about it but there is nothing I can do about it so I might as well suck it up!! I will just have to make do with several TDY's and many many deployments!

Andrew was sent on his first TDY in Feb. and was gone until the end of April! That was the first time we have been apart since basic-techschool. It went by quickly, thankfully, and he is back home and safe now!

I feel so fortunant as to all the things I have in my life. An amazing husband,a house, bigger than we need, a great college to attend for an amazing education, my very supportive family at home & friends!!!

We recently got a new puppy, a chocolate lab, and we have called him Cope! He and Rocky get along and play so well! I love both of my dogs, so very much!!

We are getting ready to head home in a couple of days to visit with our family! We haven't seen them in so long! I am pretty excited to actually be in warm enough weather to swim and tan!

Well, I suppose I have done a pretty swell job at summing up the past like .. . .6months! I must go now! toodle-lue!!

14.14days untill Andrew graduates tech school in Missouri and comes home for 2weeks!!
21.21days untill the BIG WEDDING!!!!!!! <3
28.28days untill the great big move to Malmstrom AFB in Great Falls, Montana!!!

SO, that is the significance behind the 3 numbers!! :) Life IS good!!! Although, it has been rather a stressful several days!! :( Last weekend I did get to go to Missouri and visit Andrew! *amazing* I took Rocky too... Rocky is my maltipoo pup!! I was so happy that he remembered who Andrew was and was a perfect traveling pooch!! :) God blesses me in so many amazing ways! This week has had a lot to do with dealing with wedding things.

I did get to go shopping today and get an amazing outfit for tomorrow. I got a pair of grey dress pants a black & pink shirt ( i couldnt decide so i got both) and a dressy jacket to go over it & a new pair of heels *YAY* All for about $100 so I feel I did an exceptional job!!! woo hooo. lol

Tomorrow, since I mentioned it, is my wedding shower! Its like the ONE time in a person's life where they get to open presents up from other people and it isn't Christmas or my birthday!! I'm looking way forward to it!! I'm getting to see some family I haven't seen in a while & also getting to see some family... I'm not looking forward to seeing.. Hopefully nothing awful will happen!!!

Well, I guess this is a good post for now! :) its 1:30am and I really need to try to sleep. :) God Bless

Time seems to be going by so slow. Since I held off on starting school until Jan. all I do is sit at home, eat & sleep. ugh. I can't even get a simple job since i'm leaving. I'm ready for things to start happening!! This weekend I am going to Missouri to visit Andrew! This will be my last visit until he graduates tech school. Thank Heavens, that 9 hour drive was really starting to get to me!! We are attending an Air Force ball on Friday! (: My first one.. i'm pretty excited about it!! Woo Woo!!


My next several weekends are very busy, which excites me!! After this weekends visit the following weekend is my Bridal Shower. Even though Andrew and I are already "legally" married we wanted to have a big wedding with our family so we are doing it right!! The weekend after the bridal shower some close friends of mine are coming up to knox with me and were gonna have a blast! :) Much needed time with friends! FINALLY the 3rd weekend of October Andrew graduates tech. woooot woooot & then a lovely week later on October 24, 2009 is the BIG wedding day! (its also the UT vs BAMA football gameday.. GO VOLS!!!!!)

3 days after the big wedding we are leaving for Montana.. oh boy! Never in my life have I enjoyed snow and cold weather... plus its 26hours away from the house I have lived in ALL MY LIFE... how will I ever manage. Hopefully things will work out with housing on base so I feel safe!! Then school starts in jan! WOO HOO :) Then comes the worst day of my life, not literally, but close to it... Andrew deploys in August which I am sure he will leave earlier than that for pre deployment training... I just pray things are calm wherever he goes...

Well, i think this is enough for now... just had to vent my feelings.. lol. I won't leave you with nothing though.. I will post my favorite pictures I got from the professional today :)

Bridal Shots

Today I had my bridal shots done! :) I got a few pictures snuck in by my mom and friend!! :D

My First Fondant Cake(EVER)!! (:

First of all, I wanted to post this for Kathryn! :) I told you I would eventually.. it may not be in the right place (i feel as if i say that often.haha) but hey!! its posted!! :)







Tonight was MUCH better that today. The cake class went so well! (: Lesson 2 of Course 3, was a bit hectic but we had much to complete in 2hours! I was really happy with my outcome since it was my first fondant cake, ever!! :) I posted the pics .. woo woo. No it is not perfect but it's pretty swell for a first cake!! :) Gooo Morgan!! :) Anyway, it's late and I should probably head to bed so I can wake up to talk to Andrew before pt in the morning!
